How does it work?
Beta-alanine is non-essential amino acid that can positively influence the acidity in your body (pH) by replenishing your body's stores of carnosine.
Carnosine is released into the body when the pH in the muscles drops. In other words when your muscles start to acidify with intensive efforts. Carnosine can delay acidification in the muscles. Increasing the carnosine concentration with a carnosine supplement is not possible, because the muscle cannot absorb carnosine. Beta-alanine is suitable for supplementing carnosine for an increased carnosine concentration in the muscle.
Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Keep in a dry and cool place. Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of children.
Note - Can cause harmless tingling
Taking a certain amount of beta-alanine can cause tingling in the hands, for example. This is not harmful. If you find this uncomfortable, you can spread your dose in 2-4 servings throughout the day to reduce the tingling sensation.
